La Revuelta, an explosive and fiery band from Geneva that incorporates elements of theater and dance, is composed by Swiss, French, and Latin American musicians. Their music, primarily based on original compositions, is inspired by Latin American sounds. It draws inspiration mainly from cumbia and other South American styles, offering the audience a unique, intense, and contrasting musical journey. Their presence is overwhelming, with the brass blending the energy of their music with their powerful stage and theatrical performances.
As comfortable on stage as they are in street parades, La Revuelta transforms into “Fanfare Revuelta” to take over the streets, parks, rooftops, or any other unconventional spot, adding a festive Latin touch wherever they go. For this, they draw from their repertoire of more instrumental pieces, with one sole purpose: to bring joy and dance to people’s hearts!
When they take the stage, “La Revuelta” expands their repertoire with vocals, drums, and unveils their unique scenographic and theatrical show, full of surprises.
Since 2012, the project hase been touring in Switzerland, France, Germany, Ireland and Chile.
